I Love Paper

I threw out my swatchbook library yesterday. {Well, actually, I donated 3 boxes of them to an elementary school art teacher, in hopes she could use them for projects. So many lovely colours & textures. <sigh>}  It just about killed me to let them go. I love paper. I don’t participate in the “Is Print Dead?” dissertations. I don’t care. I know we are reading books on a screen now, we keep digital daytimers & digitally sign things so we can email documents & not fax them (I’m not complaining about not faxing though – that technology needed to go). But I maintain a love affair with printed matter. I just do. I like turning pages in 3D & the feel of a book in my hands. Although my penmanship is degrading...
