I’ve got this itch about stock photography I just have to scratch. I don’t, on a whole, dig it. It’s not (just) that because  I’m a photographer I feel stock is bastardizing the trade somewhat {you should see the pennies the sale of a stock image actually pays the photographer}. And it’s not that I don’t understand how quickly webpages & brochures have to be created these days, & their costs kept low. My prejudice is deeper than that. How many times have you looked at a printed piece or a webpage that has just the cleanest, most smiley-lifestyle faces doing whatever with their computer, their flowerpot, their children, illustrating how this product can change your life.
