It’s intriguing to see how a photograph – even a small and simple one – can pull a viewer into a scene, and leave them studying there for a long, long time.
I’ve been shooting pictures since I was a kid, and it is my favorite part of the work I do. I enjoy the ideas, considering the lighting, gathering props and locations, getting up early, making the story come alive with beautiful, provocative images.

I shoot primarily on location, where my subjects are most comfortable, and work from the project sheet you and I have designed, to get the shots that will support the print or web project.
And then there’s always the one or two that just have to be captured because the light was just right, or an idea came to light. They’re usually the ones that take center stage, later.
